CESA #4 works with the participating schools and teachers to provide professional development for teachers, based on the focus of the REACCT Writing Coach Program. This additional layer enhances professional learning communities in participating schools providing strategic learning the crosses disciplines in the areas of critical thinking and writing.

Laura Veglahn is a Program Director at CESA #4 (Cooperative Educational Service Agency #4) located in West Salem, Wisconsin. CESA # 4 is one of twelve regional service agencies providing professional development, technical assistance, and serving as a conduit between the WI Department of Public instruction and school districts in the state.
Laura’s primary programs include Reading Specialist, Title I, and REACCT. A proud Wisconsin educator since 2004, Laura attained her bachelor’s in English Literature from UW-Eau Claire, and Master’s degree in Education from Viterbo University. Laura’s professional interest topics include teaching of writing, critical thinking, school improvement, and young adult literature.
